Christchurch Branch Event: Making time for learning – one person’s story
What does lifelong learning look like for Trevor Keohane? Before it was a phrase being bandied around, Trevor had stumbled upon colleagues being sponsored to complete additional university papers. Spurred on by this, but with a young family and the web in its infancy, there were limited opportunities for him to get involved in further study.
Fast forward to the new Christchurch, an empty nest, and the advent of various online resources and local groups; the opportunities for learning appear to be boundless.
In this talk, Trevor will share with you the various ways in which he uses the web and the local ‘Christchurch Ecosystem’, as part of his continuous learning journey.
